抜き出して対訳してみました（最後の行はそのままですが）。

I had been messing about with this tune for while- i'd written it on the keyboard and was playing it in a little programming room i used to hide away in when other people were using the studio.

私はしばらくの間、この曲にちょっと手間取ってました。この曲はキーボードで書いて、他の誰かがスタジオを使っているときいつも隠れている、小さいプログラム用の部屋で演奏していました。

Robin used to pop in every now and then and seemed to genuinely love it which was really quite heartening (things weren't.....erm....great around this time ; ))

Robinはいつも弾けていましたが、すっかり元気づけられたみたいで、本当にその曲が気に入っていました（この時はいろいろ大変でしたから…:)）。

and so he put the drums down so i could record the keys properly, then he plugged in his guitar and i plugged in me bass and we wrote/recorded the rest of it super fast.

そして、彼はドラムパートを作り、私は適当に鍵盤を記録して、彼はギターのプラグを繋げ、私はベースを繋げ、私たちで書いて、録音して、とにかくものすごく速く仕上げました。

Good one Robin, good one Simon, good one Elizabeth. Well done us.

LizのボーカルはSimonが打ち込んだキーボードを置き換える形で入れられているようです（歌詞はもちろんLiz）。

改めて聞いてみると、この曲の疾走感にはこんな気持ちが込められているのか、と思います。
